Pedals Meet Continents
L’Étape Türkiye Returns to İstanbul
The stage is set for one of the most breathtaking cycling experiences on the planet. Tomorrow morning, thousands of amateur cyclists from Türkiye and around the world will line up beneath the trees of Beykoz Sports Forest for the Visa Maximiles Black L’Étape Türkiye by Tour de France, ready to pedal across continents and into cycling history.

More than just a race, L’Étape Türkiye transforms İstanbul’s unique geography into a living Tour de France stage. Riders will cross the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, uniting Asia and Europe with their pedals, before tracing a spectacular route through Polonezköy, Riva, Kılıçlı, and Paşamandıra. From the Bosphorus to the Black Sea, the course blends endurance with scenery: 105 km of demanding climbs and sweeping descents, or a punchy 52.4 km short course for those chasing a dynamic challenge.

Supported by Türkiye’s leading public institutions and global brands, the event brings the legendary spirit of the Tour de France to İstanbul for the second time, solidifying the city’s place on the world cycling map. Over the weekend, the Expo Zone buzzes with family rides, stage events, and cultural activations—turning Beykoz into a festival hub for riders and fans alike.

Full race coverage and highlights will follow tomorrow as the peloton takes on one of the most spectacular urban-meets-nature courses in the world.
