A Stage for Champions, A Catalyst for Change
Bringing together top athletes from over 25 European nations, the championship will feature nine track disciplines, from sprint and keirin to omnium and time trial, with each title winner donning the coveted European Champion’s jersey.

But beyond the thrill of competition, the event underscores a deeper narrative: Türkiye’s rise as a hub for elite cycling and international sport. With modern infrastructure, passionate local support, and a strategic vision for growth, Konya is poised to offer a memorable experience for athletes, coaches, media, and fans alike.

“Hosting this event reflects how far Turkish cycling has come,” said Türkiye Cycling Federation President Emin Müftüoğlu. “Konya’s Olympic Velodrome is now one of Europe’s finest venues. We’re excited to inspire young athletes and welcome Europe’s best to a city rich in culture and hospitality.”

Konya Olympic Velodrome: Where Speed Meets Innovation
Opened recently, the Konya Velodrome is Türkiye’s first Olympic-standard indoor track and one of only 30 globally. With a 250-meter track, state-of-the-art technology, and a capacity for 2,275 spectators, it has already earned UCI Olympic accreditation—placing it among the world’s elite cycling arenas.

Set in the historic Meram district, the venue offers not only world-class racing conditions but also the chance for visitors to explore Konya’s deep cultural heritage and warm Anatolian charm.

This event isn’t just a championship—it’s a milestone in Türkiye’s sporting journey and a showcase of how tradition and innovation can ride side by side.

As the countdown begins, all eyes turn to Konya: Where Europe’s fastest wheels will chase glory in 2026.
