Belek Shines in Golf Tourism

Set against the sun-drenched backdrop of Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast, the 2025 European Senior Men’s and Ladies’ Championship ended in Antalya. It was a three-day event full of skill, strength, and a deep love for golf.

The tournament took place at the green and beautiful Cornelia Golf Club in Belek. This is one of Türkiye’s top golf spots. The event welcomed 141 amateur golfers aged 50 and older. They came from 30 countries, including France, Belgium, the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, Norway, and the United States.

The championship was approved by the European Golf Association (EGA) and organized with the support of the Turkish Golf Federation. Once again, the event proved that it is one of the most respected senior golf tournaments in Europe.

After a close play-off, Rodrigo Lacarde Soares from France won the men’s title with a score of 217. Sylvie Van Molle from Belgium won the women’s title with a score of 226.

But this tournament was about more than numbers. It was a celebration of lifelong sport, friendship, and the beauty of golf. The fairways in Belek, touched by the warm Mediterranean wind, showed again why Antalya is becoming a top destination in global golf tourism.
