Alanya: A Beach Sports Haven

Alanya Shines on the Global Stage as Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Concludes

Under the golden sun of Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast, Alanya transformed into a vibrant arena for world-class beach volleyball as the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge came to a thrilling close at the Alanya International Beach Sports Center.

Over several days of high-stakes competition, elite athletes from across the globe delivered breathtaking rallies and powerful serves against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean. The finals day saw Perusic–Schweiner (Czechia) and Anouk–Zoe (Switzerland) rise to the top, claiming gold in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.

Dramatic Moments and Unforgettable Victories
The men’s semifinals set the tone for an exhilarating finale as Perusic–Schweiner battled their way past formidable opponents to secure the title. In the women’s bronze medal match, a sudden injury to Italy’s Bianchi meant Vieira–Chamereau (France) were awarded third place.

On the men’s side, George–Saymon (Brazil) claimed bronze, while Rotar–Gauthier-Rat (France) and Gottardi–Orsi Toth (Italy) secured silver in the men’s and women’s finals, respectively.

Alanya: A Destination for Champions
This event, organized through the collaboration of the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF), FIVB, and Alanya Municipality, showcased not only athletic excellence but also Türkiye’s capacity to host world-class sporting events in idyllic settings.

As the last serve echoed across the sands, Alanya once again cemented its status as a premier destination for international beach sports—where competition meets culture on one of the world’s most picturesque coastlines.
