Kandilli Ski Center is 36 kilometers from Erzurum's city center and was built on 160 hectares of land. The runways range in elevation from 1,713 to 1,767 meters. Biathlon and ski running competitions were held here during the 25th World University Winter Games Erzurum 2011. Many activities can be seen in the ski resort, which is open for winter sports all year.

Kandilli Ski Center provides extensive facilities to its visitors. In the center, there are spectator areas, test areas, warm-up areas, sprint areas, a running stadium, sports cabins, and tents.
