World Downhill Skateboarding Championship (WDSC ) – Round 1
WDSC Round 1 is officially back in Erzincan on June 5–7, 2026, and this stop has a reputation for a reason. It’s fast. It’s technical. It’s the kind of course that turns downhill skateboarding into pure live drama.
The track starts just steps from the Ergan Dağı gondola exit and drops for 3 km. Riders will thread through 14 turns, including five hairpins, with gradients averaging 12.5% and pitches up to 19%. Top speeds can hit 120+ kph. The setup is built for repeat viewing too. The ride back up is quick, so the action keeps coming. Even if you’re not racing, you’ll still want to be here—because Erzincan is the tour’s headline stop. The mountain views at Ergan Dağı are unreal. The gondola makes it easy to spend the day up high. Then you watch riders fly through the new hairpins with the mountains as a backdrop. After that, Erzincan takes over with calm evenings and big-sky air.
