Tour of İstanbul 2025

This September, the city of İstanbul will host one of the most exciting cycling events on the UCI calendar. From September 4 to 7, 2025, the Tour of İstanbul—classified as a UCI 2.1 stage race—will bring together the world’s top cyclists for four days and four stages of elite competition.

With 17 teams and 135 riders from 13 countries, the peloton will traverse routes that highlight the city’s unparalleled contrasts: from the coastal beauty of Beykoz and Şile’s Black Sea villages to the lake landscapes of Arnavutköy, before culminating in a dramatic finale through the Historic Peninsula on September 7.

Among the competitors are 3 UCI ProTeams, 12 UCI Continental Teams, and 2 National Teams. Representing Türkiye will be Spor Toto Cycling Team and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Cycling Team. More than a race, the Tour of İstanbul is set to showcase the city’s cultural legacy, natural landscapes, and vibrant urban rhythm to the world.
