Saf Run Ultra

Safranbolu will turn trail running into a heritage escape on July 4–5, 2026, as Saf Run Ultra brings runners to one of Türkiye’s most atmospheric UNESCO World Heritage towns. This is not just a race weekend. It is stone streets, traditional wooden houses, canyon views, local flavors, and the quiet charm of a town that feels preserved in time.

The event will offer four distances. The 6K Historic Town Run will move through the magical atmosphere of Safranbolu’s old city. The 12.5K Perohi will bring a light but memorable mix of sport and weekend discovery. The 20.5K İncekaya will offer a stronger trail experience with canyon views and 1 ITRA point for finishers. The 47K Zalifre Ultra will be the main endurance challenge, giving runners a deeper route through the ancient landscape and 2 ITRA points.

Safranbolu makes this weekend special even after the race ends. Walk the old bazaar. Taste local dishes. See the town’s famous saffron heritage up close. Even if you’re not running, you’ll still want to be here—because Safranbolu turns race weekend into a journey through history, flavor, and scenery that feels completely its own.
