ONE RUN

On June 7, 2026, Istanbul will host one of its most meaningful—and visually unforgettable—run days as ONE RUN takes over the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. Built with an accessibility-first mindset through the cooperation of the Turkish National Paralympic Committee and TESYEV, this public intercontinental event carries a simple message: it’s not obstacles that run here—it’s hope. And the setting is pure Istanbul drama: a racecourse suspended above the northern Bosphorus line, with the Black Sea on the horizon and the city’s northern forests stretching beneath the bridge.

The 5K and the Accessible Run follow a short but powerful loop: runners start on the bridge heading from the European side toward Asia, enjoy a largely flat, flowing profile, make a U-turn at around 2.5 km, and return along the same line to finish back at the start area—maximum scenery, minimum complexity, and a route that feels iconic from the first step. The 10K offers a longer bridge experience. Runners start on the bridge, heading from Europe to Asia. After the crossing, they make a U-turn around the 4 km mark and come back toward the bridge. They pass the start area again at about 8 km. Then they run roughly one more kilometer toward Europe, make a second U-turn, and finish back at the start. The views stay with you the whole way.

Even if you’re not racing, you’ll want to be there—because this isn’t just a run on a bridge; it’s a rare, accessible celebration of togetherness above Istanbul’s most breathtaking horizon.
