Night Marathon

Istanbul will meet a brand-new running format on July 4, 2026, as the Night Marathon takes off along the popular Tarabya–Sarıyer coastline. This will not be just another race. It will bring a relay-style marathon experience to the Bosphorus, where runners can share the challenge, the pace, and the fun with their friends.

The event will feature 42K and 21K relay races, turning long-distance running into a team story under the city lights. The route will follow one of Istanbul’s most loved running corridors, with sea air, coastal rhythm, and Bosphorus views shaping every kilometer. Even if you are not running, you will still want to be here—because a night race on the Bosphorus is more than sport; it is city lights, team spirit, and summer energy moving together by the water.
