MW Challenge Bodrum – Triathlon
Bodrum will launch a brand-new triathlon story on April 19, 2026, as MW Challenge Bodrum makes its debut with both individual triathlon and team triathlon formats—built around the peninsula’s signature mix of turquoise water, fast roads, and pine-lined trails. This is the kind of race weekend that feels like a holiday with a finish line: you’ll start at the sea, climb through panoramic coastal views, and close it out on historic paths above the bay.
The day will open with a 1.2 km swim in Bodrum’s crystal-clear water, starting from the DoubleTree by Hilton beach. Athletes will complete two laps on a 600 m course, with expected water temperatures around 18–19°C. Next comes the 60 km bike, designed for speed on smooth asphalt: leaving from the DoubleTree junction, the route will roll through the Torba junction–Güvercinlik line, looping a 30 km segment for 2.5 laps, with roughly 760 m of elevation gain on a rolling profile. The finale is where Bodrum’s character really shows up: a 15 km trail run on the historic Leleg Road, weaving through pine trees with sea views—10 km + 5 km for a total climb of about 560 m, before returning to the DoubleTree to finish where it all began. This is the rare sports weekend where spectators win too: front-row sea views, café breaks between checkpoints, and a finish line that feels like a holiday finale. Bu, seyircinin de kazandığı nadir hafta sonlarından: kontrol noktaları arasında kahve molası, deniz manzaralı destek, finişte ise “tatil gibi” bir kapanış.
