Merrell Istanbul Ultra

Istanbul will shift from city rhythm to forest rhythm on September 5, 2026, as Merrell Istanbul Ultra returns to Kemerburgaz Urban Forest. Starting in the heart of the northern woods, the event will bring runners onto technical trails, muddy transitions, changing climbs and descents, and routes that reach toward the rugged shores of the Black Sea.

The 60K Ultra will be the event’s strongest endurance test, demanding pace control, nutrition strategy, mental resilience, and smart decision-making across constantly changing terrain. The 30K Medium Trail will offer a solid step up for runners ready to move beyond shorter distances, with forest paths, balanced elevation, and flowing technical sections. The 15K Short Trail will bring a fast and enjoyable trail experience, while the 5K Fun Race will open the forest atmosphere to beginners, families, and anyone looking for a more accessible way to join the day.

Launched in 2023, Merrell Istanbul Ultra has quickly become one of Istanbul’s most anticipated trail events. But it will be more than a race.
