Maximiles Black 38th The Bodrum Cup
Bodrum will bring the spirit of the Aegean back to the water on October 20–25, 2026, as Maximiles Black 38th The Bodrum Cup returns with a six-day program shaped by sailing, sea culture, music, and coastal celebration. As one of the Aegean’s signature sailing events, The Bodrum Cup will turn the peninsula into a moving race stage from Yalıkavak to İasos and Bodrum.
The program will begin on October 20 with race kit distribution, skipper photos, briefing sessions, and the opening ceremony. Racing will start on October 21 with the Yalıkavak–Yalıkavak Privia Black Stage, followed by the Yalıkavak–İasos Ruins Luxury Resort Stage on October 22. On October 23, the fleet will sail from İasos back to Yalıkavak before continuing with the Yalıkavak–Bodrum Opet Stage on October 24. The final race day on October 25 will feature the Bodrum–Bodrum Anadolu Sigorta 100th Year Stage, closing the week with the awards ceremony at Ağanlar Shipyard.
The Bodrum Cup is never only about the finish line. It is about the sound of sails, crowded marinas, crews gathering after long days on the water, and the coastline becoming part of the competition. Visitors can connect the race week with Bodrum Castle, the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, Yalıkavak Marina, gulet culture, Aegean bays, seaside restaurants, and local flavors such as Çökertme kebab Bodrum-style matchstick potato beef kebap), fresh seafood, herb mezes, and Bodrum mandarins. Even if you are not sailing, you will still want to be here—because The Bodrum Cup will turn late October into an Aegean sailing week where race routes, marina nights, music, sea wind, and Bodrum’s coastal soul move together.
