Konya Ultra Trail
Konya will reveal a different side of its landscape on August 1, 2026, as the Konya Ultra Trail brings runners to the stone-textured routes of Sille and the surrounding highlands. Built around Gevale, the Ak Manastır line, Altınapa crossings, and the historic atmosphere of Sille, the event will show the city through trail running, open views, early morning starts, and demanding terrain.
The program will offer five distances, from the short 5K Sille route to the flagship 74K Konya Trail Ultra. The 55K Altınapa will bring a strong endurance challenge, while the 30K Gevale will offer an ITRA-pointed route for runners looking for a compact but serious trail experience. The 16K Ak Manastır will carry the spirit of the region in a shorter format, blending climbs, nature, and local texture.
This is not only a race day. It is a chance to see Konya beyond the expected. Visitors can explore the old stone character of Sille, follow the quiet lines of the highlands, and step into the spiritual atmosphere of the city through the Mevlana Museum and its surrounding heritage. After the race, Konya’s table becomes part of the journey: etli ekmek (Konya-style Flatbread with Minced Meat), bıçak arası (Konya-style Flatbread with Hand-Diced Meat), tirit kebab, arabaşı soup, okra soup, and sac arası dessert are all strong reasons to stay longer. Even if you are not running, you will still want to be here—because Konya Ultra Trail turns Sille into a gateway for sport, landscape, spirituality, and flavor, showing a deeper side of the city.
