İznik Ultra
If you’re chasing a true “big day out” on the trails, İznik Ultra will deliver it in epic fashion on April 10–12, 2026, a solo ultra that loops the shores of Lake İznik, one of Türkiye’s largest lakes and a natural landmark of the Marmara region. The race will start in İznik town center at 17:00 on Friday, run through the night and across changing terrain, and finish back in İznik at 02:00 on Sunday—a full-spectrum endurance story that blends speed-friendly stretches with occasional technical trail.
This is a course built for both legs and mindset: 165.1 km with 4,740 m of climbing (and the same on the descent), capped by a 33-hour time limit. Expect forest corridors, wide-open lake views, punchy climbs, and long descents—plus that rare feeling of moving through a living landscape where nature and history sit side by side. And that’s the sports-travel magic here: you’re not just running an ultra—you’re spending a weekend in İznik, a lakeside town where the air is calm, the scenery is cinematic, and every finish line feels like a rite of passage.
