On October 19, 2025, the island of Büyükada in Istanbul, Türkiye, will once again host the Decathlon Büyükada Half Marathon, bringing together runners from across the country and around the world. Organized by Adalar Kültür Derneği and Bro’event, the event will feature 5K, 10K, and 21K courses, offering an unforgettable running experience for participants of all levels.
With World Athletics–certified courses, the marathon will take runners past some of Büyükada’s most iconic landmarks, including Mizzi Köşkü and Yalman Köşkü, blending the island’s history and natural beauty with the thrill of competition. After attracting 3,000 runners from 25 countries last year, the event aims to grow even further in 2025.
Set against the island’s coastal scenery and historic streets, the Büyükada Half Marathon will transform a race into a cultural journey.
