Where heritage meets strength—Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling Festival will take place from July 4 to 6, 2025, in the historic city of Edirne. On the iconic Sarayiçi field, wrestlers clad in traditional leather kispet will compete not just for victory, but for honor in a sport that dates back over six centuries.

Now part of the newly structured Oil Wrestling League, athletes will qualify through a season-long points system—blending tradition with modern athletic organization.
