16th TransAnatolia

Türkiye will become a moving rally-raid stage on August 29–September 5, 2026, as the 16th edition of TransAnatolia takes competitors from the energy of Istanbul into the changing landscapes of Anatolia before reaching the capital, Ankara. Since 2010, TransAnatolia has grown into one of Türkiye’s most distinctive adventure races, bringing together speed, navigation, endurance, nature, and culture on routes that reveal the country far beyond its familiar roads.

The 2026 route will not be just a line on a map. It will be a constantly changing flow through terrain, history, and instinct. Competitors will leave Istanbul behind, move through the green mountains of the Black Sea region, pass through Zonguldak for the first time, take on the demanding stages around Bolu and Ilgaz Mountain, continue through the deep cultural geography of Amasya and Tokat, and reach the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia before the journey closes in Ankara.

Across motorcycle, quad, SSV, car, and truck categories, the race will test more than speed. Rally competitors will race against time with roadbooks and stage results, while raid participants will face a navigation-based challenge where staying on the right track matters most. Every day will bring new surfaces, new conditions, and a new riding language. Here, the route will ask competitors to read the land, trust their instincts, and adapt as the race changes around them.

For visitors and followers, TransAnatolia will also be a journey through Türkiye’s living geography. Black Sea forests, mountain passes, Central Anatolian horizons, Cappadocia’s volcanic formations, local cuisine, village rhythms, and centuries-old routes will all become part of the story. Even if you are not behind the wheel or on the bike, you will still want to follow this journey—because TransAnatolia turns Türkiye into an open-air rally atlas, where nature, culture, history, and adventure move together from Istanbul to Ankara.
